Porsche Design P’9522 gloriously passes through FCC, sans 3G though

The elegant Porsche Design P’9522, first spotted about two months ago, has now been approved by the FCC, thus it’s ready to begin its US adventure. Theoretically, at least.

As reported when the handset came out, the P’9522 does not feature 3G connectivity, relying only on a quad band GSM radio with GPRS and EDGE.

However, Sagem, the phone’s French manufacturer, packed into it a wide range of other nice features, even throwing in a fingerprint scanner for extra security.

The price of Porsche Design P’9522 should be of $750 – $800, but for the time being there are no details on when it will be available for purchase in the US.
