Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 current or future owners should be happy to find out that SE has just released new panels for the unique Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone.
Two of the panels are created in collaboration with Facebook and Microsoft Windows Live. In consequence, they offer access to said services, for all the users who have a busy social life via their Xperia X1.
The Xperia Facebook panel is designed to offer quick access to an intuitive version of the Facebook site. Some of the panel’s new functions are: a revamped visual representation of friends’ statuses; fast and easy photo upload; and quick access to friends list and phone numbers (click to call capabilities included).
The Xperia Windows Live panel helps users import their existing Windows Live contacts and settings to the smartphone. You can also sync contacts from your phonebook, and access Hotmail or Live Messenger.
In addition to the two panels described above, Sony Ericsson has also presented the Dashwire panel, which is not as new as the other ones. This panel is designed to synchronize Xperia X1’s content with a PC or the Web.
You can download any of the mentioned Xperia panes from here (search in the Panels section), for free.
