Nokia outs three new accessories: Nokia Home Music, Nokia Internet Stick CS-10 and Nokia Extra Power DC-11
It’s a big day for Nokia, it seems, as announcements from the Finnish company keep on coming.
After the Nokia N97 multimedia computer and the Nokia Messaging service, it’s now time for some accessories intended to “enhance the mobile experience”.
First we have the Nokia Home Music. Obviously a music device, Nokia Home Music offers podcasts, internet radio and FM radio, all at the touch of a button. The device can be connected to a mobile phone, a digital music player, a PC and even a home stereo system.
Next is the Nokia Internet Stick CS-10, a broadband modem that can provide, independent of hotspots and WLAN, fast access to the Web, via the USB port of a PC or a Mac. The CS-10 only requires an active SIM card with data option enabled.
And finally, we have the Nokia Extra Power DC-11. This should allow users to “extend the power of mobile devices anytime, anywhere”, providing back-up power for up to two handsets at the same time. The Nokia Extra Power DC-11 works with any Nokia phone that has a micro USB or a Nokia 2mm charging interface.
No info yet on when the new Nokia accessories will be available and for what price.
