Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 officially available in the US
The latest-released Nseries smartphones, namely Nokia N85 and Nokia N79, are now officially available for purchase in the US, obviously featuring North American HSDPA connectivity.
The N85 was, in fact, already available from Amazon, but now it’s offered directly via Nokia’s website, as well as through the Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, and via several independent retailers.
Sold unlocked for $539, Nokia N85 is a dual-slider that comes with a 2.6 inch QVGA OLED display, an 8GB memory card and a 5MP autofocus camera, among others.
Nokia N79 is a bit cheaper, retailing at $439. Still, its features are also quite nice, including a similar 5MP photo camera, a 4GB memory card and three Xpress-on smart covers.
In case you don’t like any of the Nseries from above, you could wait for the new Nokia N97, which should hit the US sometime next year for about $750.
