T-Mobile Shadow II out on January 29?
T-Mobile USA currently has only two Windows Mobile devices: T-Mobile Shadow and T-Mobile Wing.
Well, the third one will apparently be released on January 28, 2009, under the name of T-Mobile Shadow II.
According to TmoNews, the new device won’t bring too many novelties when compared to the original Shadow.
However, its design seems to be nicer, and since looks matter when it comes to the success of a handset, the Shadow II will probably attract a considerable number of customers.
The price of T-Mobile Shadow II is not known yet, but we do know that, among its features, you should find the following:
-
Windows Mobile 6.1
-
A 2.6 inch display
-
GPRS/EDGE connectivity
-
Wi-Fi and T-Mobile@home
-
Spin-wheel navigation
-
A slide out keyboard with 20 keys
-
HTML browser
-
Email, IM
-
MyFaves 1.5
-
Bluetooth 2.0
-
T-zones, web2go
-
MicroSD card support, up to 4GB
Regardless of its exact release date, T-Mobile Shadow II might be a good alternative to the G1, although it doesn’t have as many features as the Android smartphone.
