Samsung TwoStep SCH-r470 hits the US via U.S. Cellular
U.S. Cellular and Samsung have just released a new clamshell named Samsung TwoStep SCH-r470.
The TwoStep is nothing more than a basic and affordable handset, so it should be welcomed with interest in these times of financial uncertainties. Anyway, since it has external music controls and stereo speakers, I guess we can call it a music phone.
Available in three colors (orange, purple and red), Samsung TwoStep is a U.S. Cellular exclusive, but we might see it from other carriers too, with changed name and slightly different features.
Here’s what the phone has to offer:
-
A 2 inch internal TFT display with 176 x 220 pixels and 262K colors
-
Bluetooth
-
SMS and MMS
-
Voice Recognition Services
-
A 1.3 MP camera
-
MicroSD card support, up to 8GB
-
Talk time: up to 3 hours
-
Stand-by time: up to 10 days
-
Dimensions: 3.58 x 1.77 x 0.75 inches
-
Weight: 3.6 ounces
Samsung TwoStep SCH-r470 can be bought right away from U.S. Cellular.
With a 2-yr contract agreement, the phone costs $49.95. You can even get it for free, but only if you choose a data plan of at least $39.99 per month.
