Nokia E71x to hit AT&T with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2
There’s still no official announcement regarding AT&T’s Nokia E71x, but don’t worry, the Eseries smartphone will be soon released by the giant North American carrier.
And it will come with a little surprise: instead of running on Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 (like the unlocked E71 that’s already available in the US), E71x runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2.
Obviously, FP2 offers some new stuff, including: a new Device Manager, redesigned Active Standby and support for Destinations.
Here are two screenshots with Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 on the E71x:
As previously reported, AT&T will sell the E71x in a black version. Now let’s hope it won’t take too long until the handset becomes available.
