Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets to hit the market starting this summer
Those who are already sick and tired of Windows Mobile 6.1 should be happy to find out that the first handsets to run on the new Windows Mobile 6.5 could be available starting this summer – the third quarter of the year.
Of course, Windows Mobile 6.5 is not even officially announced, but this should happen during MWC 2009 (16 – 19 February).
For the moment, there is little info on what WM 6.5 will bring. We only have those two images that leaked back in November 2008, which show a nice looking OS, but nothing more.
I’m curious about what manufacturer will produce the very first WM 6.5 device. Will it be HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson? Or maybe LG? Time will tell
