Sony Ericsson Walkman phones will feature Vringo’s video ringtone app
Sony Ericsson has signed a global partnership with Vringo, in order to pre-link the latter company’s video ringtone application into all the upcoming Walkman mobile phones.
Already available for other Java, Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets, the Vringo video ringtone app is – as its name suggests – an application that allows you to use videos or slideshows as your personal call signature.
In addition to being featured on SE’s music-oriented phones, the Vringo app will also be promoted on Sony Ericsson’s Fun & Downloads portal.
There’s no word yet on when the first Walkman phone with Vringo will be released. Anyway, you can download the video ringtone app yourself, by visiting Vringo’s website.
