Samsung D980 La Fleur Touch with Mobile Coupons
It seems that Samsung is getting seriously ready for a Valentine’s day in Russia. We already told you about a beautiful Samsung F480 La Fleur Touch edition. But it’s not the only one.
Samsung has dressed up it’s dual SIM version of F480 – D980 – in La Fleur colors too. And aptly named it Samsung D980 La Fleur Touch.
Both Samsung F480 and D980 La Fleur Touch editions come equipped something called “Mobile Coupon”, which claims to be a mobile version of plastic discount cards you can get at various retailers.

Samsung has partnered with a number of shops, cafes, cinemas, beauty parlors, fitness clubs and other places you’d want to get discount from. All you have to do – is send an SMS to Samsung requesting a mobile coupon. You’ll get a link to download a small Java app through which you’ll be able to view all the discount offers and download the mobile coupons you want. Then you just flash this coupon on a phone screen when buying something and you get a discount.
Sounds interesting. But there’s some bad news. Mobile Coupons are only available on a limited number of La Fleur Collection phones, which includes Samsung F480, D980 Touch and older L310, L320 and F250. And, what’s worse – all of these goodies are only available in Russia for now.
Well, let’s see if it works over there. Then, maybe, Samsung can bring mobile coupons to the rest of the world too.
