Nokia Magnifier app for Symbian S60 introduced
Nokia has just unveiled a pretty interesting application for its camera phones, part of the Nokia Accessibility program and called Nokia Magnifier.
As its name suggests, the app acts as a magnifier for hard-to-read texts, using the phone’s camera. Furthermore, it features a built-in image stabilizer, as well as negative filter technology for enhanced readability.
Also, the software allows you to take pictures of any magnified text or image.
Nokia Magnifier was tested only on Nokia N95, Nokia N82 and Nokia E90, but it’s compatible with any S60 3rd Edition smartphone that has an auto-focus camera (however, user reports say it doesn’t work with Nokia N96, N85, and E71).

The application is available as a free download from the Nokia Beta Labs website.
