LG Versa VX960 official specs, photos and launch date unveiled
You have to agree, Verizon Wireless’ LG Versa VX960 is not a regular touchscreen phone.
As a matter of fact, the big V calls it a “runaway favorite for MVP – Most Versatile Phone”. That’s because the handset features a 3D UI which lets you customize up to three different home screens, while at the same time coming with a set of pretty cool accessories.
These include an attachable full QWERTY keypad (that sports a 56 x 120 pixels monochrome OLED screen) and an attachable game pad controller.
Engadget has it that the Versa VX960 will be on sale via Verizon starting March 1. Its price? $199.99 with a 2-yr contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

LG Versa’s specs and capabilities include:
- CDMA / EV-DO Rev A connectivity
- 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 480 pixels
- VZ Navigator
- Visual Voicemail
- Light sensor
- HTML browser
- Bluetooth
- Music player
- 2.5mm headset jack
- 2MP camera with autofocus and flash
- MicroSD card support, up to 16GB
- Talk time: up to 290 minutes
- Stand by time: up to 430 hours (huh, really?)
- 4.16 x 2.07 x 0.54 inches
- 3.81 ounces
Oh and one more thing: it looks like that gaming pad will cost you an extra $29.99. But if you really really want it, this shouldn’t be a problem. Or should it?
