12MP LG camera phone to be launched soon
For the moment, the world only has one officially announced 12 Megapixel camera phone, and that’s Sony Ericsson Idou, which was unveiled in Barcelona, during MWC 2009.
We know Samsung also works on a 12MP handset, and now it looks like LG wants to do that too.
TechRadar is reporting that Jeremy Newing, head of marketing at LG UK, confirmed the company’s upcoming monster-camera phone. And while no clear details about it were given, it looks like the phone’s camera will feature good-quality lens, “beauty enhancer” and “smile shot”, with optical zoom as a possibility.

(this is just the KC780, photoshopped a bit)
As you probably know, LG already has two 8 Megapixel phones – LG Renoir KC910 and LG KC780 – both of which seem to be quite successful.
Now let’s wait and see how the company’s 12MP handset will be.
