The Hyundai MB-490i Dolphin phone – awesome design, mid-end features
Hyundai is quite a new player in the mobile phone industry, so it should come up with really interesting handsets in order to secure a market share of its own.
We’ve seen a few Hyundai phones earlier this year, but they didn’t impress much.
Well, that’s not the case with the MB-490i Dolphin, a handset that firstly attracts due to its unusual design.
As the name suggests, the MB-490i has the look of a dolphin – at least when you see it from the sides. It also has a 240 x 400 pixels touchscreen display and a touch-sensitive navigation wheel just below it.

Its other known features include:
- Stereo Bluetooth
- Yamaha speakers
- FM Radio
- 3.2 Megapixel camera
Hyundai MB-490i Dolphin should be available in Europe starting May 2009, for the retail price of 250 Euros ($315).
