Hands-off with Palm Pre GSM

After all the buzz Palm Pre got during CES and after that, Palm’s presence at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was a yawner.

Yes, they had a working GSM version of Palm Pre, and they were showing off various WebOS features to the public. But that’s about it.

No European launch announcement, no info about possible European partners and they did not even let us play with the darn thing. All we could do is watch the demo performed by a specially trained company reps.

What a treat…

I think its smart for Palm to release the cdma version here in the US then a gsm model in Europe. I wished the cdma version would do a simultaneous voice and data connection like the gsm version probably will.
