LG Viewty II GC900 spotted
I thought we already had LG Viewty II phone in the form of LG KC910 Renoir.
With all the emphasis on camera features, 8 mpx resolution, full touchscreen, etc; LG KC910 looked like a great successor to LG Viewty KU900.
Well, it looks that I I’ve been too quick to call Renoir LG Viety II. At least according to GSM HelpDesk.
They say that they’ve spotted the real LG Viewty II GC900 recently at LG Dealer Show in Tiel in Netherlands. Haven’t got the picture of the device yet, just a pic of the official spec sheet:
But LG Viewty 2 GC900 shouldn’t be that much different from the latest LG Touchscreen phones like LG Arena KM900, LG KM730 or LG Renoir.
The specs of LG GC900 Viewty II include:
- Quadband GSM, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 1.4 Mbps HSUPA connectivity
- 3” full WVGA (800 x 480 px) touchscreen display
- S class 3D interface
- 8 megapixel camera with Xenon Flash, manual and auto focus, image stabilizer, face tracking, burst mode , high speed video recording, ISO1600 and geo tagging
- DivX and XVID playback
- microSDHC support, up to 32GB
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- A-GPS
- Accelerometer
Actually, now that I looked through the spec sheet, except for the addition of the new S-Class intreface, I don’t see much difference between GC900 and KC910 Renoir.
But I guess better UI and Navigation seems worthy of a new model release to LG. And this way you can get some additional buzz…
No details about the official announcement or release dates, but that shouldn’t be too far away.
