Apple Netbook to finally come in Q3 2009?
Rumors about an Apple netbook have been floating around since last year, although the Cupertino company has said/done nothing to confirm it will actually launch such a product.
Now it looks like a netbook with the iconic fruit logo on it might be outed as soon as the third quarter of 2009 – according to DigiTimes.
Even more, Apple’s first netbook is said to have “touch panels” that will be supplied by the Taiwan-based Wintek.
The netbook will be built for Apple by Quanta Computer, which also works with Acer, Alienware, Dell, HP, Sony, Lenovo, Toshiba and so on.

Considering that Apple’s cheapest laptop – the white 13-inch MacBook – costs $999, the company’s netbook may have a retail price between $500 and $800. But that’s just speculation, so let’s wait until something official about this will come from Apple.
