Triple SIM phone makes an appearance
I know that dual SIM mobile phones are quite popular in Asia and Eastern Europe.
And, to tell the truth, there are quite a few good reasons why some people may want to carry a mobile phone with two SIM cards in their pocket, instead of lugging two handsets at a time.
But a phone with 3 SIM cards? Well, that seems like a bit of an overkill.
Though someone thinks that since there is a demand for dual SIM card phones, there will be a demand for a triple SIMs too. And this thing is made by QiiQ EcoCarrier Inc, operating out of RAK Free Economic Zone in UAE.
Well, actually only 2 of the SIM cards in the phone can be active at a time, so you will have to chose which one should be put to rest. But you still can have 3 different numbers on your phone, even if nobody can reach you on one of them.
Other specs of this triple SIM handset are pretty subpar and include triple (900/1800/1900) and dual (900/1800) GSM connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, 2.4” QVGA display (2.6” touchpanel) and a big 2000 mAh battery.
Well, now that we have a triple SIM phone, how about some more? Like quadruple SIM or a 5 SIM phone, or whatever…
And, uh, guys from QiiQ, when promoting your multi SIM phones on the net, would you care making some better quality images for it, so we at least have a decent idea how your phone looks like?
