CDMA Samsung Omnia confirmed for Canada
Samsung Omnia may not be as advanced as the not-yet-available Omnia HD i8910, but it’s still a pretty hot piece of mobile technology. And I’m talking about it because that mysterious touchscreen device which will be released soon in Canada turned out to be – of course – the Samsung Omnia (not LG Arena, as I supposed).
The teaser video with the phone has just been released in its uncensored version, and, even more, the Omnia is now featured on Samsung Canada’s website.
As you may already know, the highlights of the CDMA Omnia include:
- EV-DO Rev A connectivity
- Windows Mobile 6.1
- 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels
- 5MP autofocus camera
- TV-out

Rumors say the Canadian Samsung Omnia should be available via both Bell and Telus, but it’s not clear yet when exactly this will happen.
