HTC to come with a feature phone later in 2009?
When you say HTC, you can only think about smartphones and Pocket PCs, as the Taiwanese manufacturer doesn’t have a single feature phone in its line-up of products.
But it looks like the company wants to enter the feature phone market too, and release such a handset in the fourth quarter of 2009.
According to DigiTimes, HTC’s first feature phone will be a high-end Internet-enabled device that might be based on the BREW Mobile Platform from Qualcomm.
The phone should come with many flash applications and access to multimedia services.

I’m guessing the first HTC feature phone will have a large touchscreen display – if true, it will compete against the likes of LG Arena and T-Mobile’s Samsung Memoir.
