Verizon Touch Diamond Confirmed for Release Tomorrow
A few days ago we mentioned that Boy Genius had rumors indicating the HTC Touch Diamond was scheduled for a April 10 release date on Verizon, and it appears those rumors were spot on.
Verizon has confirmed on its website that the Touch Diamond will indeed be available through business sales and online starting tomorrow.
One area the rumors were incorrect on was pricing. The Touch Diamond will be available for $299.99 after $70 mail-in rebate with contract, as opposed to the rumored $199.99 price tag. There was no word on pricing without contract yet, though we expect it to be above $500.

The Touch Diamond will feature Verizon’s signature Navigator system as well as Visual Voicemail, a 3.2 MP camera, and 2.76″ touchscreen display with TouchFLO.
There is no word as to when we can expect the Touch Diamond to show up in retail stores.
