Samsung t349 messaging phone to hit T-Mobile USA on May 20
T-Mobile USA is getting ready to release a new affordable messaging phone, namely the Samsung t349.
The t349 is a candybar that comes with a 20-key keypad (similar to the one of T-Mobile Shadow, which is available since January), as well as a set of pretty basic features.
According to BGR, T-Mo will start selling the new handset on May 20, for both pre-paid and post-paid customers.
No word yet on the price of Samsung t349, but we can show you what it looks like:

Apart from the semi-QWERTY keypad, the t349 also offers:
- GPRS connectivity
- 1.3MP camera with video recording
- Email, Instant Messaging
- Bluetooth
- Photo caller ID
- Mobile backup
We assume the phone will be sold by T-Mobile for next to nothing on contract, but, of course, that’s yet to be confirmed.
