Motorola A4500 global smartphone to hit Verizon
The FCC rarely provides enough info about the phones it approves, but, luckily, that’s not the case with the new Motorola A4500.
Several photos of the A4500 have appeared on FCC’s website, alongside a detailed Users Manual.
The handset, officially called MOTO A4500, is a global smartphone that should be launched by Verizon Wireless in the US.
Design-wise, MOTO A4500 is a mix between the old Q-series and a BlackBerry smartphone:

The features of Motorola A4500 include:
- EV-DO and GSM (quad-band) connectivity
- Windows Mobile 6.1
- QVGA display
- QWERTY keyboard
- GPS
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- TV out
- 2MP camera
- Fingerprint scanner
No word yet on when the A4500 will be available for purchase from Verizon. But at least we know slightly more about it than about the iPhone lite or the Microsoft “Pink” phone.
