Facebook for Windows Mobile officially launched
By Ilinca Nita on 07 May 09Shortly after Facebook 1.5 for BlackBerry was launched, Microsoft has now introduced an official Facebook app for Windows Mobile 6 and Windows Mobile 6.1.
As you’d expect from a Facebook application, the new Windows Mobile one lets you: easily send messages to your Facebook buddies; upload pics and videos directly from your phone; manage your profile and update your status.
Keep in mind that the app only works with Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1 devices (WM 5 is not supported) and it will also be compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5 – so you’ll be able to use it on handsets like, say, i-mate Legionnaire and i-mate Centurion.
