Samsung Jack i637 officially announced by AT&T
Today, AT&T has announced the official successor of Samsung BlackJack and BlackJack II, namely the Samsung Jack i637.
Running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, Samsung Jack is both slim and lightweight.
It comes with a full QWERTY keyboard (like all the BlackJack handsets) and advanced messaging capabilities, including: instant messaging, multiple email accounts, Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile, AT&T Xpress Mail or Microsoft Direct Push.
Another good news is that the smartphone is upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5.


Samsung Jack’s full list of features and specs includes:
- QVGA display
- 3G connectivity
- Wi-Fi
- aGPS, AT&T Navigator
- AT&T Mobile Music
- Cellular Video
- Stereo Bluetooth
- 256 MB RAM
- 3.2MP camera with video recording
- MicroSDHC card support, up to 16GB
AT&T will start selling the new Samsung Jack on May 19, for as low as $99.99 (2-yr contract agreement required).
