Samsung i7500 approved by FCC, T-Mobile 3G included
Samsung’s first official Android smartphone, the i7500, has just been approved by the FCC to work on the GSM/EDGE 850/1900MHz and 3G AWS 1700MHz bands.
This obviously means that T-Mobile USA could, theoretically, release the handset, like, right now.
Of course, this won’t actually happen. Instead, T-Mo will probably launch the i7500 sometime in the fall of 2009 – so the Samsung Houdini does indeed seem to be the i7500.
In case you don’t know yet, Samsung i7500 comes with features like: a 3.2 inch AMOLED HVGA (480 x 320) touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack and 8GB of internal memory.

Together with the G2 / MyTouch 3G and the G1 v2 aka Bigfoot, Samsung i7500 will make a pretty consistent Android offering for the US customers – and all this from T-Mobile only.
