Leaked: HTC Touch Pro 2 for Verizon, HTC Cedar for Alltel

Until now, we saw the HTC Touch Pro 2 in three North American versions: for T-Mobile, for Sprint and for AT&T.

As it turns out, the new Windows Mobile smartphone will come to Verizon too, although details about its release date and price are not known.

The Verizon-branded Touch Pro 2 was recently spotted in a live image, alongside the HTC Cedar for Alltel (of course, the Cedar is a slightly different version of HTC Snap, which will hit Verizon too, as HTC XV6175).

So it looks like HTC really wants to gain the hearts of US mobile users, by releasing its smartphones via all major carriers. But will it manage to do it? With the Palm Pre and the new iPhone just around the corner?

Palm Pre buttons are way too small. The Iphone, it doesnt have Windows Mobile base so dont really care about it. HTC touch pro 2 will do good but not with Verizone, I have their service, not very happy. Im gonna go with AT&T. cant wait.....

i really suggest you ask around about AT&T's service. If you are not happy with Verizon then you will be in total shock with ATT. Again, don;t be fooled by anyone loving ATT because it is the ony carrier for iPhone. I know people who love the iPhone and can't stand ATT's service. Dropped called galore, dead spots...just plain horrible. Seriously if iPhone is not the issue here, make sure what service you are getting into.
