HTC Hero with Android to be exclusively sold by Orange
Remember the Android HTC Hero that appeared at the beginning of the month in some leaked pictures?
We already knew that it was coming to Orange, and now it looks like it will come to Orange only, as the carrier has reportedly won exclusivity over the smartphone – of course, we’re talking about Europe here, because the handset could also be released in the US by T-Mobile, possibly under the name of T-Mobile G3.
The Hero will not be the only Android device to hit Orange this year. The giant mobile operator should also launch Android smartphones from Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG and Motorola.

The rumored features of HTC Hero include HSDPA connectivity, a 3MP camera, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headset jack.
It’s not clear yet when exactly Orange will launch the Hero, but we’ll be here to announce when this happens.
The handset will be the first Android phone for Orange UK, but not the first for Orange Europe, as the carrier has already launched the HTC Dream in France.
