HTC Snap coming to the UK this week, £289.99 unlocked
Announced back in April, the HTC Snap (also known as HTC S522 for the US) is now close to being released in the UK, unlocked and ready to be used with any operator you like.
The new smartphone is listed as coming on June 3 at DeviceWire. Its retail price will be of £289.99 (about €334 or $475).
Measuring 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm, the HTC Snap comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a landscape QVGA non-touchscreen display and, of course, it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard.

Its other features include:
- Quad-band GSM connectivity
- Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity
- Wi-Fi
- GPS
- Bluetooth 2.0
- 2MP camera
- 528MHz Qualcomm CPU
- MicroSDHC card support, up to 16GB
No word yet if the HTC Snap will be released via any major British carrier – but if it does, customers will be able to buy it for much less than £289.99 if they also choose a contract agreement.
