Garmin-Asus Android phone promised for Q1 2010
Garmin-Asus, the joint venture announced at the beginning of the year, plans to release an Android smartpone in the first quarter of 2010.
The news comes many months after Garmin (without Asus) has announced that it’s working on an Android device, which should have been launched this year.
Quite possibly, the Garmin-Asus Android phone will be a remake of the device that Garmin started working on.
After all, the joint venture is also remaking the Nuvifone G60 (which was delayed again and is now scheduled for a release in the third quarter of 2009).

(this is the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60, running on a Linux platform)
Details about the features or the price of Garmin-Asus’ Android phone are currently missing.
