T-Mobile MyTouch 3G box art leaked – three color versions confirmed

T-Mobile USA’s HTC Magic will indeed be called MyTouch 3G, as recently rumored. Moreover, the smartphone’s three color versions are now confirmed to be black, white and merlot.

How do we know this? Well, MyTouch 3G’s box art has appeared over at Engadget, allowing us to see that the handset will come in a pretty cool package.

It’s said that the MyTouch 3G will be launched on August 5, which could mean that T-Mobile’s second Android phone – that should be out this month – is made by another manufacturer than HTC.

Anyway, until things become clearer, take a look at the MyTouch 3G box art:

The price of T-Mobile MyTouch 3G is not known for the moment, but it shouldn’t be higher than $200 with a contract agreement.

The picture of the mystery device you have linked to within the phrase "It’s said that the MyTouch 3G will be launched on August 5, which could mean that T-Mobile’s second Android phone – that should be out this month – is made by another manufacturer than HTC." appears to be exactly the same as the white version of the MyTouch.
  • Yes, the picture from this article http://www.unwiredview.com/2009/06/02/t-mobile-... does indeed show the white MyTouch 3G.

But we don't have a confirmation of the fact that T-Mo's second Android phone is a non-HTC device. It might as well be the MyTouch 3G, and that's why a picture of it is there :)
