Sprint’s HTC Snap S511 already available, but only from Best Buy
Sprint hasn’t officially announced the HTC Snap S511, but the smartphone can be already bought from Best Buy.
The giant retailer sells the Snap for $519.99 – sans contract, of course – and it looks like the handset is available both online (here) and through the Best Buy shops.
Looking slightly different than the original Snap (announced by HTC back in April), Sprint’s S511 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard and it obviously comes with a full QWERTY keyboard:
The Snap S511 also features a QVGA display, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 2MP camera and a 528MHz Qualcomm CPU.
So there you have it, a good and non-touchscreen alternative to the Palm Pre, which was launched by Sprint on June 6.
