National Geographic launches dual SIM Duet Travel Phone

National Geographic and Cellular Abroad have announced the release of a new dual SIM handset, called National Geographic Duet Travel Phone (model name D888).

Made “for the needs of the international traveler”, the Duet Travel comes with a National Geographic pay-as-you-go SIM card that lets you make affordable calls from no less than 185 countries, as well as receive free calls in over 80 countries. You also get 30 minutes of outgoing call credit, available in most countries.

Obviously, the phone supports a secondary SIM card of your choice.

Sadly, the Duet only has tri-band GSM connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz) and it lacks 3G.
