T-Mobile UK: our next Android phone is called G1 Touch
While T-Mobile USA’s second Android phone will be called MyTouch 3G, T-Mobile UK has a different name for G1’s successor.
According to a message posted on T-Mobile UK’s official Twitter account, the British carrier’s second Android smartphone has been named G1 Touch.
Unlike the MyTouch 3G, which is a US version of the HTC Magic, UK’s G1 Touch is a mysterious device for the moment. It’s most probably not the HTC Magic, since this is already offered by Vodafone in Europe (UK included).

The G1 Touch might be the recently announced Huawei U8230 (pictured below) – especially since a Huawei representative has confirmed that the handset will debut at T-Mobile sometime in the third quarter of 2009.

It’s not clear yet when T-Mobile UK will officially unveil the G1 Touch, but let’s hope it happens soon.
