Nokia N97 and N86 8MP now available in the UK
Ten days later than in the US, Nokia N97 is now available for purchase in the UK, alongside the N86 (Nokia’s fist 8MP camera phone).
The Nokia N97 will be exclusively sold through Nokia’s stores for one week, but afterwards (starting June 26) Britsih customers should be able to find it via many retailers and carriers – including Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, 3, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
Right now, you can get the unlocked N97 directly from Nokia, for £499 (€589 or $820), while the unlocked N86 8MP can be bought for £399 (€470 or $656).

If these prices are too high, you might want to wait for that Nokia N97 Mini, which will apparently be launched by Vodafone sometime later this year, coming as a more affordable smartphone.
Or, why not, you can go grab an iPhone 3G S from O2, since the new Apple smartphone was also launched today.
