Nokia 5800 XpressMusic launched by Rogers in Canada
Although it’s not yet featured on Rogers’ website, it looks like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was finally launched by the largest Canadian mobile carrier.
Available in Europe since last year, the 5800 is Canada’s first smartphone to run on Symbian S60 5th Edition. Rogers sells it for as low as $199 when the handset’s bought with a 3-yr contract agreement, and customers should be able to find it in stores as of today.
I’m sure that most of you already know the features of Nokia 5800, but just in case, they include: a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 640 pixels, quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack, stereo speakers, stereo Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics, and an 8GB card in the box.
