Motorola Karma QA1 for AT&T now official

Motorola and AT&T have just announced a new quick messaging phone, the Karma QA1 – which is actually not that new, since we first saw it back in February.

Targeted at teenagers and young adults, Motorola Karma is an oval-shaped phone that features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3G (dual-band, 850/1900 MHz), threaded messaging, and a homescreen with one-click-access icons for Facebook and MySpace.

The Karma QA1 will be available in AT&T’s stores and online, starting June 28.

Until then, here’s what the handset looks like:

The full specs list of Moto Karma QA1 includes

  • 2.5 inch QVGA display
  • GPS
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • 3.5mm headset jack
  • 2MP camera with flash and video recording
  • 100MB internal memory
  • MicroSD card support, up to 16 GB
  • 1170 mAh battery

But what about the phone’s price? Well, AT&T will sell the Karma for as low as $79.99, but only of you sign a 2-yr contract agreement and choose a plan of at least $60 per month.

Missed too much with this review:
    1. is the headphone jack 2.5 or 3.5mm?
    2. What is the quality of the keyboard? Similar to ____? This is a major part of the phone!
    3. Can the built in apps be upgraded?
    4. How does it fit in a pocket?
