Verizon announces the HTC Ozone; only $49.99 starting June 29
First seen at the beginning of July, Verizon’s HTC Ozone is now official, as the largest North American carrier has just announced its upcoming availability.
Since it’s nothing more than a redesigned HTC Snap with both GSM and EV-DO connectivity, the Ozone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, a QVGA display, an “ergonomically-designed QWERTY keyboard”, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 2MP camera, MicroSDHC card support, and a 1,500 mAh battery.
The new smartphone also features VZ Navigator ($9.99 per month), Visual Voice Mail ($2.99 per month), email, Mobile IM and a one-touch messaging key.

Verizon’s customers will be able to buy the HTC Ozone starting June 29. Its price will be of $49.99, with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $70 mail-in rebate.
