UMA enabled Nokia 7510 launched by Rogers
Rogers Wireless, Canada’s largest mobile carrier, has just announced the Nokia 7510 – its second new Nokia phone to come this month (after the 5800 XpressMusic).
Known as Nokia 7510 SuperNova in Europe, the handset is a clamshell that was also released by T-Mobile in the US.
Rogers’ Nokia 7510 is UMA enabled and thus TalkSpot compatible, “giving Canadians seamless access between a cellular and wireless home internet connection.”
The phone has two Xpress-on changeable covers (in blue and red) and it features a hidden external display with “cool light effects”.

Here are the main specs of Nokia 7510:
- QVGA internal display with 16 million colors
- Bluetooth
- Music player
- FM radio with RDS
- OSS browser
- 2MP camera with LED flash
- 512MB card in the box
For the moment, Nokia 7510 is not yet featured on Rogers’ website, but the carrier said that customers should be able to find it in retail locations. The phone’s price is of $49.99 with a 3-yr contract agreement.
