BlackBerry Gemini 8520 launch parties to debut on July 20?
There’s nothing official about the BlackBerry Gemini (aka Curve 8520) yet, but it looks like T-Mobile USA and RIM are planning to throw some launch parties for the new smartphone starting July 20.
RIM and T-Mobile will organize no less than 51 events across the US, which include giveaways, $1,000 in prizes, a mystery Contest Kickoff and the unveiling of a mystery device.
Well, it’s said that this mystery device is exactly the BlackBerry Gemini.

Whether or not this is true, we’ll find out after July 20. Until then, T-Mobile customers can register for the event via the BlackBerry Movie Night website. In order to register, you need a “referral code or T-Mobile referral”, and a Facebook account. Keep in mind that registrations end on July 19.
