BlackBerry Gemini 8520 launch parties to debut on July 20?
By Ilinca Nita on 15 Jul 09There’s nothing official about the BlackBerry Gemini (aka Curve 8520) yet, but it looks like T-Mobile USA and RIM are planning to throw some launch parties for the new smartphone starting July 20.
RIM and T-Mobile will organize no less than 51 events across the US, which include giveaways, $1,000 in prizes, a mystery Contest Kickoff and the unveiling of a mystery device.
Well, it’s said that this mystery device is exactly the BlackBerry Gemini.
Whether or not this is true, we’ll find out after July 20. Until then, T-Mobile customers can register for the event via the BlackBerry Movie Night website. In order to register, you need a “referral code or T-Mobile referral”, and a Facebook account. Keep in mind that registrations end on July 19.
