here is what a rep told me this morning.....they are not telling the dates of the htc touch pro 2 but i logged our chat

don't think the pro price is relevant. Our business account rep offer them to us a couple of weeks ago for $90 a pop and when I went to the main store in our area to take a hands on they had none in stock and they said no new stock would be coming, only an new replacement model (touch pro 2).
I think the older Pro is “EOL” just not announced as such.

i think its goin to be $249. Thats what Tmo's is going to be. Everyone else has dropped their pro prices down to $99, so they are probably expecting it real soon. I hope its going to be Sept 8. everytime i ask sprint they tell me they cant talk about the phone

Yeah, Sprint's Touch Pro was pricey from the beginning and still is. Which makes me wonder if the Touch Pro2 won't have the same price ($299)… Hopefully not.

thats good that its coming out soon, but not soon enough because the price on the touch pro has yet to drop!
