Sony Ericsson T715a passes the FCC with AT&T 3G bands
Last week, the FCC approved the Sony Ericsson T715 – the European version, which presents little interest for the US customers.
Well, today, the Sony Ericsson T715a has passed the FCC as well, with GSM 850/1900 and UMTS 850/1900 bands, as mentioned in the sar report.
These are exactly the bands that AT&T uses, so the carrier might launch the T715a sometime later this year.
Announced at the end of June, Sony Ericsson T715 / T715a is a slider that comes with a new UI feature called “smart desktop”, a 2.2 inch QVGA display, Google Maps, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, stereo FM radio, 3.2MP camera, 90MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

If AT&T doesn’t launch the Sony Ericsson T715a, customers will probably find it unlocked, at the Sony Style shop, where phones like the W995a Walkman and Xperia X1a are already available.
