Samsung Hype A256 launched by Rogers, only $89.99 on PAYG

Rogers Wireless has introduced a new affordable messaging phone on the Canadian market – the Samsung Hype A256 (known in the US as Samsung Magnet and available through AT&T since May).

The Hype A256 is a simple candybar that features a full QWERTY keyboard and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz).

The phone also comes with Bluetooth, MMS, VGA camera, 16MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support (up to 16GB). Its battery can last up to 5 hours in talk-time mode, or up to 12.5 days in stand-by.

-You cannot use the QWERTY with any other programs such as opera mini
    -No memory slot
    -No music player
-browser has limited memory for rendering wap pages.

It is basically a texting phone shaped like a PDA… and it does not even do texting well because the resolution is low

There is no MicroSD card support, in fact, no memory card support at all.

Thank you I've been trying to figure out where the sd card goes! Looks like I bought the card for nothing!
Is there an actual cord to connect to a pc for this phone?
I found a user manual online that is much more useful than the 18 quick review that comes with the phone.
