Verizon’s Omnia II appears on Samsung’s website
Samsung Mobile USA has just confirmed that Verizon Wireless will release the Omnia II sometime soon.
Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t actually show Verizon’s Omnia II. However, it says that the phone is exclusive to Verizon and it “will revolutionize the way you text and email – faster and more accurately”.
The Samsung Omnia II for Verizon is most probably the CDMA version of the European Omnia II i8000.
If this is true, the smartphone will come with features like Windows Mobile 6.1, a huge 3.7 inches AMOLED display with 480 x 800 pixels, TouchWiz 2.0 3D, Wi-Fi, GPS, DVD-like video recording, 5MP camera, and an 800MHz processor.

No word yet on the price of Verizon’s new Samsung Omnia. The old Omnia costs only $99 on contract, so the Omnia II might come for $200, also on contract.
