Samsung Galaxy i7500 finally available from O2 UK
British Android fans can now finally buy the Samsung Galaxy i7500, as O2 has just launched the smartphone in the UK – one week later than expected.
The Galaxy i7500 is O2 UK’s first Android smartphone – and, of course, it’s also Samsung’s first handset to run on Google’s open source OS.
Feature-wise, Samsung Galaxy comes with a HVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP camera, 8GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

O2 UK offers the Samsung Galaxy for prices ranging from free to £244.67 (about $400) – obviously depending on the contract / data plan you choose. Customers can buy the Galaxy online at this address.
