Nokia N900 on pre-order in the USA for $649
We’re not sure how many Maemo fans there are in the US, but, regardless of that, you should know that the brand new Nokia N900 is available for pre-order at the Nokia USA online shop.
The Maemo 5 Internet Tablet is priced at $649 and it’s obviously sold unlocked.
For that kind of money, you get a 3.5 inch WVGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3D graphics acceleration, 5MP Carl Zeiss camera, and 32GB of expandable memory.
Of course, the N900 also comes with WCDMA 900/1700/2100 connectivity – perfect for T-Mobile’s 3G network.
And speaking of T-Mobile, the fourth largest US carrier might soon offer the Nokia N900 on contract – although there’s no word yet on when this will happen.
