Orange UK confirms: Motorola Dext comes in October, free on contract
Last week’s rumor regarding Motorola Dext’s arrival to the UK in early October has been confirmed today by Orange, which will indeed launch the Android smartphone next month.
Offered to UK customers exclusively via Orange, the Motorola Dext will be sold even for free to customers who choose a 2-yr contract agreement and a data plan of at least £34.26 ($56.5) per month.
As you probably already know, Motorola Dext is Moto’s first Android device and it’s similar to the Motorola Cliq, which will be soon released in the US by T-Mobile.
The Dext features Android OS 1.5, the MotoBlur UI, 3 inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA connectivity, HTML browsing, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP camera, and a full QWERTY keyboard.
