We have another HTC device to tell you about, and it’s not one of the 100 others that are being rumored and released in the near future. It’s called the HTC Dragon, which supposedly will be running Android Eclair (2.0).
The Dragon, aka Zoom 2, hasn’t been pictured yet. In fact, all we really know about the device is that it’s supposed to be quite different from the Leo, Desire and Passion, and that it will have a resolution of 480 x 800.
Could it be called Dragon because of Snapdragon processor? We can certainly hope.
Apparently the device is still in early development stages, so perhaps that’s why no picture is available yet. Also the fact that it’s running Android 2.0 indicates it’s still a while before release, considering 1.6 Donut was just launched.
But the rumor alert has been sounded, and we are sure to find some leaked pictures in the very near future.
In addition to this news, we have also received word that HTC is still hard at work on two other devices that haven’t been talked about in over a year and a half; namely, the Thoth (Advantage 2) and Omni. These handsets were believed to have been scrapped due to the length of time since we last heard anything about them.
How much would you like to wager that these two phones will look entirely different than the original pics that came out in 2007?
