ZTE to make phones for 3 UK, Ireland and Sweden (F102 included)
ZTE, the world’s sixth largest phone maker, has signed an agreement with Hutchison Whampoa’s 3 in order to produce handsets that will be sold in the UK, Ireland and Sweden.
The first phone (already available at 3 UK) is the ZTE F102, a simple candybar that features 3G, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, MP3 player, 128MB of internal memory and MicroSD card support. The handset also lets you make free Skype to Skype calls, and use Windows Live messenger.
3 UK’s ZTE F102 (pictured below) is currently priced at £29.99 ($47.8) on Pay As You Go.

If it continues to make deals like this one, ZTE has considerable chances to become the world’s fifth largest phone maker – as a previous report stated.
