Samsung to pre-install WeatherBug weather widget on its phones
Samsung will pre-install a WeatherBug weather widget on its phones, starting with Verizon’s Omnia II that should be available for purchase in the next few months.
The WeatherBug widget will feature an icon on the Home screen, which allows Samsung phone owners to access current weather information.
The icon leads users to the WeatherBug website (which is ad-supported) – there, you’ll be able to find weather information for over 45,000 locations around the world, plus detailed forecasts for one week, as well as camera and satellite images.

No word yet about the other Samsung phones that will have the WeatherBug weather widget pre-installed, but, most probably, they’ll all be touchscreen devices (with TouchWiz UI).
